I was thinking about getting it on my upper back, but that idea seems so generic, does anyone have any suggestions on how I could make it more unique? I am getting this tattoo because I am an Ovarian Cancer survivor.
I want to get a tattoo of a lotus flower and the Chinese symbols for Faith Hope and Love...?
It may be a generic idea but if it special to you then get it. I have plenty of generic tats but they are special to me. So do what you feel like, it is going to be on you forever so if you like it I say go for it.

Reply:get it on your outer shoulder or on your hip, just a suggestion. i have one (not this tattoo) on my upper back almost my neck and i kinda wish i got it lower. im always getting in trouble at work cause it shows, but if you can with your job and thats where you want it, screw what anybody thinks its your body!!!
Reply:i would say your lower left or lower right back, or your ankle. maybe your forearm? or your calf?? whichever you want, but yeah, i dont think your upper back is a good spot. Beating cancer is a great thing, and a tatoo is a great celabration, so i would get it in a place easily visable. Good luck with the tat, and life!!

Reply:The lotus symbolizes immunity/immortality. I would just skip the kanji all together.
Reply:I would put it on your lower side of your stomach, over either where your right or left ovary was. that would make for a great tatt story too.
