What does Linear Hyperechogenecity mean?

I have ovarian cysts and my sonogram report states that the cyst is 4 cm in size and is linear hyperechogenecity or probably linear calcification. What does this mean and is it related to Ovarian Cancer. I can't get in touch with my doc.

What does Linear Hyperechogenecity mean?
Linear usually means straight; one dimensional; pertaining to length; involving or resembling lines; narrow and elongated; so that refers probably to the cyst, I could not find much about what hyperechogenecity means here are the sites I found

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en%26amp;q=def...

I doubt very much if its related to cancer. Good luck.
