I think that I may have some kind of cancer in my reproductive system?

Well maybe its not cancer, maybe its just irregular periods. i had my period for 3 months straight then it stopped for like 2 weeks then it came back on then i saw my gynecologist and she said that stress is causing this the thing is: I AM NOT STRESSED! She says she will not have me tested for cancer because she says i am over reacting to stress anyways my mom had ovarian cancer and some other relatives of mine have had ovarian cancer as well as fallopian cancer and uterine cancer, but anyways i have hurtful periods and then when they stop and resume the flow goes from heavy to SUPER HEAVY, plus big chunks of stuff come in the flow...but its not like chunks of stuff i've usually seen i'm 19 so my periods shouldnt be irregular like they were when i started them at age 12.

I think that I may have some kind of cancer in my reproductive system?
If you feel you are not getting a satisfactory answer from your current gyn, seek a second opinion from another.
Reply:Call your health care and ask to see a different gynecologist. A second opinion wouldn't hurt. Just explain your concerns and see if he/she will conduct a few more tests so you don't worry as much.
Reply:Get your a** to a doctor now!!! That doctor doesn't know what she's talking about!! If you have a family history of reproductive cancer then you need a second opinion!! NOW!! DON'T have her as your doctor again!! She's playing with your life and health!! This is some serious stuff!! For your sake sweetie get yourself to a doctor tonight if possible!! God bless!!
Reply:irregular periods are very common at your age.

Don't worry
Reply:please get it checked out. That is no joke. And if that punkaSz doc. of your's doesn't meet your needs you need to find someone who is actually concerned about your health.Good Luck.
Reply:See another doctor. Have a pap done. Also have them check you for endometriosis and ovarian cysts. Both of these can cause irregular priods. I have moderate endometriosis and I have always had irregular periods, heavy cramping and sometimes chunks. There are things they can do to help you cop with these symptons, sometimes they can make them go away. Make sure every doctor you see has your family medical history and actually acknowldges it!!!!!!!!!
Reply:I agree with the other answers saying seek a second opinion. Also if your on birthcontrol it can make you bleed. I couldnt take birth control pills because of that. Also diet is very important. I had to stay away from milk products during certain times becuase it made me cramp worse. I admire you that your taking the time to take care of yourself. I don't know your age or if u have or plan to have children but a hysterectomy could help in the future. Best of luck to you and god bless
Reply:If your doctor won't test you further, you need to see another doctor, ASAP! Ovarian cancer is nothing to take lightly as you probably know, and it often spreads quickly. I don't want to worry you, but you do need to act quickly to find out just what is wrong. It may be endometriosis.
Reply:Are you anemic? Do you have polycystic ovarian syndrome? Has your doctor tested you for these? Sounds to me as though you may be anemic and possible have POS, those two things can cause the symptoms you are describing. Sounds as if you may want to find another doctor or atleast get a second opinion for peace of mind. You have a family history of cancer and that should not be taken lightly. You deserve that and you deserve to know what the cause of your symptoms are.

Good Luck and don't take that your stressed as an answer!
Reply:you definitley need to get a new gynecologist.
