What r some signs of breast cancer????

In two months time i have sharp repeating pains in my left breast they are short but they hurt i'm scared to go tonthe doctor because i dont know which to go to. Cancer hadnot run in my family untill four years ago my mom came u with breast and ovarian cancers and they caught it to late she ast lease give me advice

i get alot of pain in my breast near the time i am due a period.


go to see your docotor explain to him/her about this pain the way u have explained is this is just pain breast cancer does not normally cause pain..

Reply:Usually the cancer in early stage doesnot give rise to pain .Usually there are no symptoms %26amp; thats why detection becomes late. For early detection u should palpate ur breast by ur palm %26amp; feel for any lump or hard mass . If it is thee u can go for a mammography test which is a non invasive reliable test. What is ur age bcaz the sharp short pain on left side may be due to angina or merely muscular pain or due to hyper acidity.


As u said that ur mom had Ca breast it is highly advisable for u to under go cancer screening even if u have no symptomss or mass /lump . B caz it may run from mothers to daughters ( genetic )
