Genistein (Soy Isoflavone) use in Cancer Treatment?

Anyone have any research or experience with said question? Mom has ovarian cancer, now off treatment with presistant disease.

Genistein (Soy Isoflavone) use in Cancer Treatment?
That is a good question. Soy Isoflavones have estrogen producing capabilities and they usually are iffy when it comes to gyne cancers. They do say that it has anticancer capabilities but not after the fact. Its considered more preventative than a cure. You mom should consult with an integrative oncologist that believes in naturopathic preventative treatments for cancer before she begins any treatments on her own. If she is in remission she should be on full vitamin and mineral supplements to keep her resistance up. The key factor is to keep her over all heath up so her body has a better chance of fighting it off.
