im soposed to start mine this sunday , im kinda nervous about things i've read. Is it true you have a high risk or breast cancer and cysts and possibly ovarian cancer? im on these only because of my periods are horribly painful the first 2 hours of the first day and my gyn put me on POP's because my blood pressure rose 2 years ago when i was on regular orthro cyclen, so she said these were good for that. Does anyone have info?
Im 20 years old, married, still use condoms during intercouse , and im only planning on being on them until next christmas, when we hope to go off them and have a baby . Do you think i'll be safe with no risk of anything?

its a very slight risk but yes it is still a risk.
And of course the side effects are different from everyone but i wouldn't worry too much. I actually am thinking of starting bc but worried about weight gain and acne lol :) and headaches..
if its only for a short period of time i doubt you have anything to worry about
